For those of you that know our background it will come as no surprise that even similarities to Rob Flemming, (and Dick or Barry for that matter) have been drawn. However, like anyone who has spent time working or just hanging out in old fashioned record shops, pretty much everything about Nick Hornby’s High Fidelity rings true. The lists, the encyclopaedic knowledge of your genres, the snobbery, the deluded sense of cool and of course the indefatigable belief that what you listen to defines you and is more important than pretty much anything else.
