We know there's a lot of Alice Cooper fans that didn't like the Trash album (or Hey Stoopid) as they felt it was following the MTV crowd rather than leading it. They may have a point, but it doesn't stop Poison being a classic of it's genre and one of the stand out tracks of the era - and frankly, if Alice wants to put out an album of nursery rhymes set to dup step, then he's earned that right.
