On December 8th 2004 metal lost not only a great guitarist, but an icon of the scene. The Double D was a true southern gent that represented everything that metalheads throughout the world love and revere. Partying, puking, slamming, swearing and all done with enough enthusiasm to fuel a thousand Marshall stacks. Gone, but never forgotten.
