Arguably still the benchmark by which if not all horror movies are measured, certainly by which all monster movies are. The Bride of Frankenstein is simply brilliant film making whichever way you look at it. Everything about this James Whale masterpiece holds up today and proves that CGI and "jumps" are by no means a prerequisites for great horror. Still shocking even today, you can only imagine the shock on audiences in 1935. Our design was inspired by the fictional German university where a young Henry Frankenstein was tutored by the brilliant, camp and clearly deranged Doctor Septimus Pretorius. the golden age of Universal Horror at it's finest
