There are so many stories about Ritchie Blackmore and no doubt some of them are true. Ritchie Blackmore probably is a right royal pain in the butt. He may well look a bit of an idiot dressed as a hobbit and playing the lute these days, but the man wrote some of the greatest guitar hooks in rock history, so I guess that leaves him in enough credit to do what on earth he wants.
