OK, so we all know that pretty much everyone has an opinion on the current incarnation of Guns N' Roses, but there aren't many fans that dispute Appetite for Destruction not only being their high point as band, but that it was also a high point against which every American hard rock album that followed would be measured. The sleaze that oozes from every riff, from every lyric on the Guns N' Roses full length debut, especially in My Michelle and Rocket Queen which provide the obvious inspiration here, is as strong today as it was in 1987. So forget the squabbles and remember that once upon a time Izzy, Duff, Slash, Steven & Axl were untouchable.
