When we were about 14, I remember my school pal Charlie coming back from the local video shop looking dejected as all the copies of Lethal Weapon had been rented out. Instead, he had had to settle for The Howling II and some old American comedy that he got because it had the guy from The Blues Brothers in it... Now as much as I love Lethal Weapon, what a result. We may have been stoned, but I am not sure we had ever laughed that much before as we did when we first saw Animal House. We also never stopped dreaming that one day, when we were bunking off, that we'd do something even close to as fun as seeing Otis Day and the Knights.
