As blues standards go, Albert King's Born Under A Bad Sign is amongst the most iconic of the all. So much so, that even many a seasoned blues fans has to double check themselves when thinking about who sung it originally. Covered by virtually every guitarist/band withe aspirations of playing the blues, but it was Cream's cover that really brought it in from cult blues collectors and had ingrained it into our souls. Albert was of course one of the Three Kings of the Blues alongside BB King and Freddie King and it was his use of the flying V that is often credited with popularising the iconic guitar.
