On first viewing, I was so taken by the way Drive looked and sounded that I barely noticed the characters and plot. The second time I watched it was much that same. It just looks amazing. Then finally I watched it and realised that it is a belter of a film in its own right full of superb performances. Ryan Gosling is the obvious starting point, but for me, it was the support from Carey Mulligan and Christina Hendricks that stole Drive.
